At first glance this piece looks like an illustration right out of the Wizard of Oz. In truth it's a portrait commission illustrating a loving message imparted by a mother to her daughter. My client Annie's interest in this theme was sparked after seeing the "You've Always had the Power" portrait I created for Oprah Winfrey. She wants her little Ashley to know, at the core of her being, that she can do anything.
