"I Cannot Give Thee Up" was drawn in response to the shootings at Columbine High School.  The flower the angel holds is a columbine.  The words "I cannot give thee up" were given for the meaning of the columbine in my Victorian flower dictionary.  Reading that caused me to think that we should not let go of any of the children who lost their lives in that tragedy.  We should remember all who perished in our prayers.
