The desire to put this image on paper came while watching my daughter as a 13-year-old and her friends.  Our culture puts so much pressure on girls to look a certain way.  I wanted to show that we were all made different and that's how we're meant to be. I would even go so far as to say that when God created us, he delighted in our differences and considered them a very special gift.
