I wanted to create Oprah a special piece of art for her 50th birthday. She is a mentor to me. I illustrated her as a young girl, like the girl's she has taken under her wing in Africa. She is dressed up as a fairy dropping Christmas gifts to African school children. In a thank you note Oprah wrote, "Just beautiful.....thank you."
